Day 1: Kuala Kumpur - Sapporo Assemble at Kuala Lumpur International Airport for your flight to Chitose International Airport (Sapporo) Day 2: Sapporo – Shiraoi Ainu Village – Lake Toya Observatory - Noboribetsu Jigokudani (Hotel Dinner) Shiraoi Ainu Village (白老爱奴民俗文化村) Popularly known as “Porotokotan” was established in 1976 as the Shiraoi fountain for the Ainu culture. This cultural & educational promotion has the projects such as the transmission, preservation, research and study of Ainu culture. The design of the museum as an outdoor museum is divided into modern and village zone. Inside a house, explanations of Ainu history and culture are given and traditional dances are performed at all times for visitors. Lake Toya Observatory(洞爺湖展望場) You can enjoy Lake Toya beautiful view here. Noboribetsu Jigokudani (Hell Valley)(登别地狱谷) One of Japan’s leading hot spring resorts, featuring a rich output of 11 kinds of hot spring water. The street is lined with many hotels and Japanese-style inns. Jigokudani (Hell Valley) where hot water and volcanic gas gush out is a popular tourist destination. Hakodate Night View (Cable Car) (Breakfast/ Lunch / Dinner) Konbukan (Kelp Museum 昆布館) You will explore the history of taking kelp as one of the sources of food and the manufacturing process. You may also take home with you some of the best products from this region. Meijikan (明治館) A shopping mall created from the original Hakodate post office Building in 1911. The mall contains many glass and music box products. Goryokaku Park (五陵郭公园): The first western style castle in Japan was built in 1855. It is designated as special historical site today. “Goryokaku” means five edges. Goryokaku Tower (五陵郭展望塔): It was built to commemorate the Goryokaku construction of a castle for 100 years. The beautiful star-shape construction of Goryokaku can be seen from observatory of the tower with a height of 60m. Mt. Hakodate Night View (函馆山夜景 - 乘坐吊车) Ranking the 3rd famous night views of the world after rivaling with Hong Kong and Naples. Mt. Hakodate-yama is 334 meters high and just out to the sea like a nose. It offers a fantastic view from the top. A large size gondola with the capacity of 125 people brings you to the top in 3 minutes. Showa Volcano–Bear Ranch–Kitahiroshima Mitsui Outlet -Sapporo Odori Park–Underground Shopping Street-Tokeidai ( Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner ) Fresh Seafood Market (海鲜市场): where selling fresh local seafood such as the flower crab, sea urchins, salmon, tuna, etc… Mt. Showa Volcano (有珠/昭和新火山 ) rose up out of cracks on the ground in Dec 1943, and then became a dormant volcano since 1945. During just a two-year period, flat farmland was elevated to 407 M above the sea level. Bear Ranch (熊牧场This bear ranch houses a special observation room where approximately 100 brown bears can be seen from a close distance. Kitahiroshima Mitsui Outlet (北广島 Mitsui Outlet): A must-visit for visitors to Hokkaido! From famous global brands to drugstores Sapporo Odori Park (大通公园) an oasis in a metropole; This park runs through the center of the city for 2km from the east to the west. It is the main site for “Sapporo Snow Festival” held in early February every year when it is filled with over 300 pieces of arts with snow and ice. Tokeidai (Clock Tower)( 时计台): this building with a clock tower was built in 1879 as the drift hall of Sapporo Agriculture College. This symbol of Sapporo has been designated as one of Japan’s important cultural assets. (Ski equipment at own expenses). In 1972 Sapporo was the host to Winter Olympics and Mt. Okura became known as the home of the Ski Jump Stadium. Ishiya Chocolate Museum (白之恋人朱古力城)( Here you will see how ”Shiroikoibito” (chocolate in between smooth cookies) product is processed. Otaru / Otaru Canal (小樽 ~ 小樽运河 ~ 水晶音乐城 ~ 玻璃趣致街): The construction of this 1,140-meter long canal took 9 years to complete since 1914. Rows of old warehouses built of stone standing along the canal. The Glasswork Shop, Music Box Museum and shopping mall along the canal have been converted from stone-built or brick-built warehouses. This Hokkaido Jingu enshrines three dieties for the reclamaition oh Hokkaido. The reclamation of Hokkaido was begun when the Meiji Restoration succeeded. Emperor Meiji selected protecting deities of the reclamation of Hokkaido and enshrined them in this shrine in 1869.Hokkaido used to be called "Ezo" the name oh one of the groups of Ainu. The Meiji Government changed it to Hokkaido in 1869. Docho( 道庁) the red brick building was built in 1888. The building is said to have modelled on the capitals of Maryland and Massachusetts. It is the equivalent of a city hall or town hall and houses the archives of Hokkaido. Beer Factory (啤酒工厂): Here you can understand how the beer is produced and also get a chance to taste their local fresh brew on the spot.Tanugikoji Shopping Paradise (狸小路商店街) The magic shopping street in downtown Sapporo! You may enjoy the 100-YEN shop, the cheapest shopping in town as well. Ramen Street (拉面街): Ramen Yokocho (literally Ramen Side Street) is a small arcade in Susukino area which has about 20 ramen shops, restaurants selling a Japanese version of Chinese noodles. (Ramen tasting is at your own expenses)Susukino (Red Light District) (薄野红灯区): It is the largest entertainment district of Sapporo. This area is illuminated with neon lights as dusk falls.
