Itinerary
Take flight from Kuala Lumpur (D7 501) around 05:00AM to Jeju.
Upon arrival at 12:00PM, you will be met by our friendly representative. Kick-start your tour at Jeju Folklure and Natural History Museum, is a collection and display of information on Jeju inherent archeology, folk customs, animals and plants, marine life and other places. Next, visit Yongduam Rock, also known as Dragon Head Rock, an unusual lava formation that look like a roaring dragon rising from the sea into the sky. Continue to Yongyuan Pond where the saltwater and freshwater meet. The legend goes that an envoy was sent to the pond frequently by the Dragon King. The pond is flanked on both sides by eight rock walls that look like folding screens. Also called as Yongyeon Yabeom, the pond is one of the twelve best scenic sites in Yeongju. Yongyeon Yabeom refers to the beautiful sight that is created when the full moon is reflected on the clear waters of the rocky cliffs. Hence, many people come to visit the pond at night for the beautiful night scenery.
In the evening, proceed to Top-Dong Fashion Street for shopping, a well-known shopping disctrict on Jeju Island. After dinner, check into the hotel for a good night's rest.
Rise and shine. After a marvelous breakfast at your hotel, start to climb the spectacular crater of Seongsan Sunrise Peak, a Jeju symbol and UNESCO Natural Heritage Site. From the top of the island’s largest volcanic rock cone, be surrounded by the ocean and almost 100 similar rock peaks for an overwhelming atmospheric view. Continue to enjoy fresh air as you visit Seopjikoji which is located at the end of the eastern shore of Jeju Island. Seopji is the old name for the area, and Koji is Jeju dialect meaning a sudden bump on land. Seopjikoji was the filming site of Gingko Bed, The Uprising, One Thousand and One Nights and other Korean TV dramas. Enter the traditional world of the Seongeup Folk Village, where Korea’s traditional thatched houses, Confucian temple, mills, fortress and tombstones that have been preserved. Here, you’ll also hear Jeju folk songs and other folk entertainment, sample local food and listen to local Jeju dialect.
After that, head to O’sulloc Tea Museum, the first tea museum opened by Amore Pacific in 2001 with the aim of introducing and spreading Korean teas and the traditional tea culture of Korea. Then, visit the Jeju Glass Castle a glass art theme park featuring an exhibition hall, garden and models all made entirely out of glass. There are six themed model parks, showcasing over two hundred and fifty models are exhibited. These include the world’s very first all-glass labyrinth, the world’s largest glass ball and largest glass diamond, a glass stonewall, a mirror lake, and a glass bridge. There are also glass art masterpieces by internationally famous artists from Italy, the Czech Republic, Japan, and more. You can experience making glass artwork there. There are thousands of glass works like glass pyramids and glass lights and they are illuminated at nights. It also has the biggest glass tower in the world. Have fun at Teseum (Teddy bear Safari) which is one of the first museum in the world to exhibit all sorts of teddy bears and stitched dolls.
Next, proceed to Haesu Spa Land (included mini towel & clothes), is a tourist site famous for its fresh seawater that is pumped from the beach to operate a 24-hours sauna. Taking a simple bath, relieving physiological stress, restoring vitality of yours lives by resting and enjoying in a healthy way. The Spa Land is a place equipped with health facilities for rest and joy with one-stop entertainment programs available such as the green tea spa bath, jjimjil-bang, sports, facial aroma, outdoor hot sauna, and etc.
In the morning, enjoy some shopping stops at Ginseng Centre, Cosmetics Shop, Herbal Shop and Seaweed Museum for a shopping tour. Don't miss the kimchi-making lesson guided by a professional kimchi instructor. Later on, you will get to try on hanbok (Korean traditional clothing). Be sure to get a photo taken in your hanbok to keep the memories of Korea.
Proceed to Mystery Road and experience the strange phenomenon of going uphill when your vehicle’s engine is turned off. Afterwards, visit Jeju Ice Museum (excluded DIY ice sculpting). Then, proceed to Bucket List 3D Art, filled with 3D and interactive images that will trick your eye with the art of illusion.
After dinner, continue shopping at Yeon-Dong Shopping Street (Lotus Lane Shopping Street), whether the search is for clothes, accessories, shoes or a number of other mid-to high-priced items, you’ll find it here.
Rise and shine. Visit a grocery shop for last minute shopping before transfer to airport for flight back home (D7 502) around 14:40PM and reach Kuala Lumpur around 19:40PM.
